Brett Ross, Street Toyota-Scion Service Porter, has been voted on by his fellow employees at Street Toyota-Scion as Employee of the Month for December 2012.

“I am thrilled to have been selected as the Employee of the Month for December,” Ross said. “Winning this award really means a lot to me because it means that my fellow co-workers have noticed my work.”

The nomination process begins when four employees are chosen by their employers to be Employee of the Week. These four selected employees are then contestants for Employee of the Month. Street Toyota-Scion employees then vote and the employee with the most votes wins the title of Employee of the Month. All twelve Employees of the Month are in turn contestants for Employee of the Year.

The benefits of awards such as these are numerous. Employees of the Week receive a $25 gift card and a parking spot nearest the door for a week. The Employee of the Month receives a $50 gift card and a parking sport nearest the door for a month. The Employee of the Year receives a $500 gift card and a front parking spot for a year.

Bonnie Brakey, Customer Relations Manager, operates and controls the friendly, yet rewarding competition every week.

“The recipient of any of these awards receives a most important benefit: bragging rights,” Brakey said.
