Norcross, GA (PRWEB) November 15, 2012

Recall, a global leader in document storage, secure document destruction, digital document management and data protection, today announced a free shredding event to celebrate America Recycles Day. The event will occur from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Braves, in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Residents and small businesses in Gwinnett, DeKalb and Fulton Counties are encouraged to bring old, confidential and sensitive documents for secure shredding. The event will also include a number of fun family activities outside the stadium.

Recall partnered with Gwinnett County and the Braves organization to create this bi-annual event. Recall is committed to providing assistance to consumers in safeguarding themselves against identity theft. To assist in these efforts against identify theft, Recall provides free, secure shredding of documents during the America Recycles Day event, which ensures that sensitive information is not exposed, stolen or abused. Once the paper is collected and destroyed, the shredded paper will be recycled into re-useable consumer paper products.

“Recall provides secure shredding for some of the most confidential documents in the business world. Now, we're giving back to the community and providing this service for free,” said Tim McBride vice president general manager, Secure Destruction Services of Recall North America. “Recall is dedicated to protecting confidential and sensitive information and maintaining our commitment to the sustainability of the environment. Our America Recycles Day celebration provides families and business owners with a free, fun event, while delivering a valuable service and helping the environment.”
