2012 has been a record year for Aequitas Automotive Ltd. The UK based niche protection provider has seen its fortunes flourish and plans new brand and products changes to say ahead of the field

Wirral, UK (PRWEB UK) 9 November 2012

2012 has proved to be a difficult year for the UK economy. However this has not been the case with niche insurance provider Aequitas Automotive, who's fortunes have soared during this year. The company own two of the leading Gap Insurance brands in the UK, Easy Gap and GapInsurance123, and provide thousands of policies to the UK public each year.

The company has announced impressive expansion plans on the back of this result, and expect a series of new brands and products to come to market over the next few months, as a spokesperson for the company explained.

"Aequitas Automotive has seen unprecedented success in 2012. The Easy Gap and GapInsurance123 brands are now recognised as leading brands for Gap Insurance in the UK*, and the fact we can offer quotes from two different policies certainly seems to appeal to our customers.

Aequitas has just expanded both our personnel and office areas also. Our expanded marketing team now work tirelessly to get our message out to the general public. The investment in new office space and in our team is a commitment to invest in the future of Aequitas.

We have also just signed an agreement with one of the largest insurance providers in the UK, to provide a new product range underwritten by possibly the most recognisable insurer in the UK today. Aequitas products have always aimed to change the market place, and our new range will not be found wanting. The company believes that a combination of product features and a huge insurance underwriter is the key to consumer confidence. This will be achieved by our new products and will be a real 'game changer' in the market we firmly believe."

The success of Aequitas Automotive has progressed in part to the fact that both the Easy Gap and GapInsurance123 products were well featured in the respected Which report into Gap Insurance in 2012. The report, released in February of this year, highlighted the fact that consumers can save hundreds of pounds by purchasing Gap Insurance independently from their motor dealer.

The company plan to enhance the current product range and introduce new brands to the market. This is a strategy that has proved fruitful for the company so far, and one that will continue in the next few years, as the spokesperson explained.

"When you consider one of the biggest motor insurance names in the UK, Admiral Group, then can see that their group of brands consists not just of Admiral, but also Bell, Diamond, Confused.com and more. Aequitas believes that if the strategy of offering more choice under one roof has worked in the motor insurance market then it can in the Gap Insurance market too.

Aequitas operate two leading brands now, and we plan to expand this to three in 2013 and possibly four or five by the end of 2014. We also plan to launch complimentary brands and products alongside our Gap Insurance base in 2013."

The year of 2013 looks to be exciting for Aequitas Automotive as the Wirral based firm looks to build on the success of 2012.
