Market Update Video Published by John Carter and Absolute Wealth

Carter discusses the most recent trends in the markets, and talks through the ups and downs of the data charts for viewers to follow along with.

“First we've got the selling pressure that we were looking for: a nice play on the Spyder puts as we came down and just slammed into support,” said Carter in the video. “This is where a lot of times people get excited and think ‘Wow, this thing is going to crash,' but you almost always get a short recovering rally, so that's what we're looking for now.”

Carter also brings up a topic he covered in a previous video. Gold, though seemingly insusceptible to market swings, is not bulletproof according to Carter.

“Again, remember what I talked about: what's bad for the stock market in this environment is also bad for gold,” Carter said in the video, “There's this misnomer out there where people think everything is going to hell in a hand basket, let's buy gold, and that's not how it works right now because everything's correlated. So, if the market rolls over and dies, look for gold to sell off too.”
