Janne Sigurdsson, Managing Director of Alcoa Iceland, Wins Gold Stevie® Award for Women in Business

Alcoa AA announced today that Janne Sigurdsson, Managing Director of Alcoa Iceland, has been named the gold Stevie Award winner for Female Executive of the Year in Europe, the Middle East and Africa at the 9^th annual awards ceremony held recently in New York. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, and the companies they run.

Sigurdsson was recognized for her achievements in helping to build, strengthen and expand Alcoa's new and technically advanced Fjardaál aluminum smelter.
