Netflix Up On Deal To Stream First Run Movies (NFLX)

Netflix, Inc. NFLX is up 1% in pre-market trading, after the company announced it would be streaming first run movies from and FilmDistrict through a multi-year agreement. Under the deal, movies that traditionally would have been licensed to cable channels will now instead go to Netflix, starting, next year. Shares of NFLX are up $2.35 in pre-market to $208.25, a gain of 1.1%.
