MTPV Power Corporation (http://www.mtpv.com) has named energy industry executive Dr. Mark Little Ph.D. to its Board of Directors as it prepares to bring its award winning heat-to-electric power solutions to the market.

MTPV creates semiconductor chips that convert heat directly into electricity. Much like solar panels convert sunlight into electricity, MTPV's EBLADE™ Power Platform converts any source of heat into electricity with breakthrough efficiency and power.

Dr. Little most recently served as the CTO of General Electric GE leading over 50,000 technologists across GE's businesses while also leading GE Global Research with more than 3,000 scientists, engineers and researchers delivering fundamental technology advances in industries spanning energy, oil & gas, aviation, healthcare, transportation, consumer products, and financial services.

"We welcome Mark to the Board of Directors for MTPV," said Frank Egan, Managing Director at Northwater Capital and MTPV Board member. "With decades of experience in the energy business including research, development and business leadership at the highest levels of the industry his participation will be invaluable."

In addition to his role at MTPV, Dr. Little is the Chairman of the Board of Skyonic, a Venture Partner at the Material Impact Fund, and an advisor to Launchpad. He is the chair of the Schenectady, New York Smart City Advisory Commission and on the Board of Trustees at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Ellis Medicine.
