OSLO, Norway--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Asetek (http://www.asetek.com) (ASETEK.OL), the world's leading supplier of computer liquid cooling solutions, today announced that RackCDU D2C™ liquid cooling for the NVIDIA® Tesla® P100 GPU accelerator (Pascal) will be on display at ISC16. The Tesla P100 GPU solution will be shown at Asetek booth #710 at the International Supercomputing Conference in Frankfurt Germany June 19-23rd, 2016.

The latest addition to the NVIDIA Tesla Accelerated Computing Platform (http://www.nvidia.com/object/tesla-supercomputing-solutions.html), the Tesla P100 enables a new class of servers that can deliver the performance of hundreds of CPU server nodes. Based on the new NVIDIA Pascal™ GPU architecture with five breakthrough technologies, the Tesla P100 delivers unmatched performance and efficiency to power the most computationally demanding applications.

"The Tesla P100 represents a massive leap forward in computing performance and efficiency," said Roy Kim, Group Product Manager of Accelerated Computing at NVIDIA. "With Asetek's liquid cooling solution optimized for the most demanding high-density Tesla P100 server designs, OEMs can deliver new levels of performance to handle the most computationally intensive HPC workloads."

"Asetek's liquid cooling solution for the Tesla P100 lets HPC and data center OEMs benefit from huge boosts in server density and dramatic reductions in cooling costs," said John Hamill, Asetek Vice President of WW Sales and Marketing. "We look forward to further collaboration with Nvidia in the future."

RackCDU D2C (http://www.asetek.com/data-center/oem-data-center-coolers/rackcdu-d2c/) (Direct-to-Chip) is a "free cooling" solution that captures between 60% and 80% of server heat, reducing data center cooling cost by over 50% and allowing 2.5x-5x increases in data center server density. D2C removes heat from CPUs, GPUs, memory modules within servers using water as hot as 40°C (105°F), eliminating the need for chilling to cool these components.

Appointments for in-depth discussions about Asetek's data center liquid cooling solutions at ISC16 may be scheduled by sending an email to questions@asetek.com.
