Lincoln Financial Group Opens New Office in Atlanta to Support Growth of Group Protection Business

RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Lincoln Financial Group LNC today announced the opening of its new location in Atlanta, Ga., at RiverEdge Summit in Sandy Springs. This office will principally house employees working for the firm's Group Protection business, which provides nonmedical insurance coverages, such as disability, life, dental, vision, critical illness and accident insurance, to employees through the workplace. The expanded facilities in Atlanta will accommodate growth and enable enhanced service capabilities.

Lincoln Financial first announced plans for the new space in August 2015. Currently, there are nearly 2,000 employees total in the Group Protection business, about 200 of which are in Atlanta. That number is expected to grow substantially over the next three to five years. Existing staff in Atlanta have relocated to the new building.
