Diana Containerships Inc. Announces Split Ratio for Reverse Stock Split

ATHENS, Greece, June 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Diana Containerships Inc. DCIX, (the "Company"), a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of containerships, today announced that its Board of Directors has determined the split ratio for the previously announced reverse stock split of the Company's common shares, par value $0.01 per share, to be effective as of the opening of trading on or around June 9, 2016. The split ratio will be one-for-eight. Upon effectiveness of the reverse stock split, the number of outstanding shares of the Company's common stock will decrease to approximately 9,361,321, which may be further adjusted for the cancellation of fractional shares.
