Kohl's Family Value Day and Kohl's Activity Zone Return to Wisconsin State Fair

The Wisconsin State Fair, in collaboration with the Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation and Kohl's KSS, today announced they will celebrate the sixth year of their partnership by providing families with access to the Fair at an incredible value.

Kohl's Family Value Day will return to State Fair on Monday, August 8 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., offering free admission for youth 11 and under (a $6 savings) and discounted adult admission for only $5 (a $7 savings). In addition, the partnership includes the return of the crowd-pleasing entertainment at the Kohl's Activity Zone, as well as the beloved "Fair Day" at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

The Kohl's Activity Zone returns with even more enjoyable and interactive activities that are tailored to families. New this year, the area will open an hour earlier, at 9 a.m., and will close at 5 p.m. daily. The Kohl's Activity Zone will be located on South Grandstand Avenue and include the following attractions:

• Kohl's Color Wheels, an art-making experience presented by the Milwaukee Art Museum
• Kohl's Design It! Mobile Lab, create unique hands-on projects highlighting design with Discovery World
• Kohl's Wild Theater, conservation-themed theatrical performances from the Zoological Society of Milwaukee
• Kohl's Building Blocks Program, a Penfield Children's Center program that promotes the health and positive development of children and celebrates their unique abilities
• Kohl's Cares Grow Safe & Healthy Program, an educational display teaching children and families how to keep safe and healthy with help from Children's Hospital of Wisconsin

Additionally, through a generous donation from Kohl's, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin patients and their families will enjoy an exceptional re-creation of the Wisconsin State Fair during "Fair Day" at the hospital on Tuesday, August 9 from 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. This fun-filled family event will include several cherished Fair staples, such as jugglers, magicians, a visit from the 2016 Fairest of the Fairs, Gloria Kesler and traditional Fair food, including the delicious Original Cream Puff.
