John Porath Named Southeast Regional Executive for PHH Home Loans

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

PHH Home Loans, a joint venture between PHH Mortgage and Realogy Holdings Corp, announced today that John Porath has been appointed to the role of Regional Executive for the Southeast Region of PHH Home Loans based out of Clearwater, FL.

In this role, John will be responsible for the production, profitability and overall performance for the Southeast Region, encompassing more than 160 employees in seven states and the District of Columbia. The Southeast Region of PHH Home Loans operates in Florida, Georgia and Texas under the Sunbelt Lending Services brand and in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Washington, DC as PHH Home Loans.

With more than 25 years in mortgage banking, John brings with him a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the industry. In his most recent role as Vice President, Regional Sales Manager for Citizens Bank, he held direct oversight and responsibility for retail mortgage lending in the North Carolina/South Carolina/Virginia region, which led the company in productivity and customer satisfaction.

John started with Norwest in 1989 as a Loan Officer, which was just the beginning of an extensive mortgage career that has included senior leadership roles with JPMorgan Chase, GMAC Mortgage, First American Mortgage Services and Charter One Bank.
