MENLO PARK, Calif., May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Scott Redfearn, executive vice-president and global human resources leader of consulting firm Protiviti, has been named to the 2016 Top 25 Consultants list in the leadership category by Consulting magazine. Under Redfearn's human resources leadership, Protiviti has received numerous national accolades as a great place to work in publications including Consulting and Fortune magazines, and from companies such as Glassdoor and Vault. Redfearn has also been responsible for developing a range of recruiting, onboarding, training, benefits and mobility programs, often in direct response to employee feedback. His global people strategy continues to provide innovative recognition, meaningful career experiences, work-life balance and flexible career alternatives for Protiviti employees.

"Scott's efforts to strengthen our culture through a number of wonderfully creative programs have been instrumental in helping Protiviti to attract and retain top talent as the firm continues to grow," said Joseph Tarantino, president and CEO of Protiviti. "We're proud of his many accomplishments as a global HR leader and also as a mentor to many of his colleagues, and we congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition."

Prior to joining Protiviti in 2007, Redfearn was a senior executive in human resources at Accenture. He holds a bachelor's business administration degree in finance from Texas Tech University.

Joe Kornik, Consulting magazine's editor and publisher, says the publication was incredibly impressed with the more than 400 nominations it received this year. "Each and every year, the Top 25 nominations get stronger and stronger, and this year certainly was no different," Kornik said. "As a matter of fact, this year's crop of winners may be our strongest ever. The 2016 Top 25 Consultants list includes the very best consulting has to offer — these 25 leaders are making a huge impact for their clients, their firms and on the entire consulting profession."

Redfearn and the other 2016 honorees will be celebrated at an awards dinner on June 16, 2016 in New York City. Redfearn now joins an impressive group of Protiviti leaders who were named to Consulting magazine's past Top 25 Consultants lists: Kimberly Dickerson (2015), Carol Beaumier (2014), Jim Pajakowski (2013), Jim Armetta (2012), Jim DeLoach (2011) and Cory Gunderson (2009).
