PHILADELPHIA, March 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Aberdeen Asia-Pacific Income Fund, Inc. (the "Fund") FAX held its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") on March 24, 2016. At the Meeting, shareholders of the Fund voted to re-elect two Class I Directors to the Board of Directors.
As of the record date, February 5, 2016, the Fund had outstanding 255,217,306 shares of common stock and 2,000,000 shares of preferred stock. 83.0% of outstanding common stock were voted and 100.0% of outstanding preferred stock were voted representing a quorum.
