(PRWEB) March 01, 2016

In a ceremony held last night at The Peoples Improv Theater in New York, J. W. Crump received the first ever Dynamo Award recognizing his accomplishment as the first creator using the Dynamite app to earn more than 1 million views for his comedy video series "Kylie's Beauty Tip of the Day".

With more than 40 episodes recorded and shared on Dynamite, "Kylie's Beauty Tips" have become "must see" comedy for Dynamite users. The series was launched in the Dynamite app by Mr. Crump during October 2015, and quickly earned a following in Dynamite and on social media.

"J. W. Crump's videos are fast, funny and likable" said Dynamite Labs founder and COO Larry Lieberman, who previously worked at Comedy Central and MTV VIA. "When J. W. Crump puts on a Dynamite mask and climbs into the heads of America's most iconic family, even the simplest beauty tips become comedy. His ‘Kylie Jenner' series is being watched and shared by viewers all over."

The Dynamite app allows users to record and share videos wearing masks of celebrities, animals, and causes. Videos are viewed, shared, and commented upon in the Dynamite app and across all social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and tumblr. A new feature launched this week allows users to make their own masks for their Dynamite videos.

Dynamite is now available for free in the App Store (http://apple.co/1UYKnrG). For more information, visit the app website at http://www.dynamiteapp.com or Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DynamiteAppLabs
