Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation Corrects Article Inaccurately Referencing a Dividend Record Date and Amount

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation MIC responded to publication of an erroneous on-line article regarding the Company's purported announcement of a dividend record date and dividend amount.

The article incorrectly stated that MIC had declared a dividend of $0.42 per share for the fourth quarter of 2015. In fact, the Company has not commented on or declared a dividend for the fourth quarter of 2015.

MIC said the confusion may have arisen from a February 4, 2016 press release by a company with the same stock ticker, but listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, of a dividend of C$0.42 per share.

MIC will release its fourth quarter 2015 earnings after the close of market trading on February 22, 2016 and conduct an earnings conference call at 8:00am ET on February 23, 2016. Consistent with prior practice, MIC does not intend to comment on its results until that time.

The NYSE and SEC have been notified of the publication of the erroneous information.

MIC does not normally respond to inaccurate information disseminated about the Company. However, the broad dissemination and resulting level of inquiry in this instance necessitated this response.
