The Bon-Ton Store, Inc. Raises $215,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. BONT, which operates Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner's, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers stores raised $215,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America during its ‘Give the Gift of a Great Future' holiday campaign.

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. BONT, which operates Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner's, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers stores raised $215,000 for Boys & Girls Clubs of America during its ‘Give the Gift of a Great Future' holiday campaign. Customers were given three different opportunities to donate to the nation's number one advocate for youth serving nearly four million kids and teens during out-of-school time. Since 1994, The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. has donated more than $2.2 million to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Customers were presented with three ways to get involved with the ‘Give the Gift of a Great Future' campaign.
1.) Purchase Cinnamon the Bear: An exclusive 2015 Teddy Bear was sold in stores and online with 100 percent of the net proceeds donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
2.) Make a Donation: Shoppers had the opportunity to make a $3 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of America while in-store and, in return, received $15 off a $30 their next purchase.
3.) Bring Back, Give Back: Customers who shopped at any Bon-Ton, Boston Store, Bergner's, Carson's, Elder-Beerman, Herberger's and Younkers store during the campaign received an exclusive gift guide with special shopping offers. This booklet included a "give back" page which could be filled out and "brought back" to any store location. For every "give back" page customers "brought back" to the store, The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. made a $1 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
