TESSCO Technologies elects Steven Tom to New Senior Vice President position

HUNT VALLEY, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

TESSCO Technologies TESS, a leading supplier for the knowledge, product, and supply chain solutions to enable organizations to build, use, maintain, and resell wireless voice, data, video, connectivity, and control systems, recently announced the election of Steven Tom to Senior Vice President.

Leading the Analytics, Innovation & Learning Team, Tom, 35, will be an executive officer of the company and a member of the senior leadership team reporting to Chairman and CEO Robert Barnhill. He will continue to lead the company's big data analytics and business intelligence initiatives, overseeing the incubation of new products and solutions, as well as the company's learning and training business units.

Tom has been with TESSCO for four years. Prior to TESSCO, he led the Marketing Strategy and Analytics organization at Algeco Scotsman and was a client project leader for Deloitte Consulting LLP's corporate strategy practice, serving Fortune 500 clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Maryland, College Park and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
