100 top North American companies to present at CIBC's 19th Annual Whistler Institutional Investor Conference

VANCOUVER, Jan. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - CIBC CM CM will host its 19^th annual Whistler Institutional Investor Conference January 20 - 23, 2016.

Scheduled to present are senior executives from 100 North American companies spanning several key industry sectors, including agriculture, chemicals, fertilizers, energy, mining, oil & gas, paper and forest products, telecommunications, financial services, transportation, and technology.

Presenters will outline their business and growth strategies in fireside chat-style discussions, and share thoughts on the future direction of their sectors in panel sessions.

In a keynote luncheon address on Jan. 20, Avery Shenfeld, Managing Director and Chief Economist, at CIBC, will share his forecast for Canada and its financial markets in a world where the U.S. economy has solid fundamentals but emerging market economies and commodity prices are challenged.
