Everest Re Group Names Paul Kneafsey Active Underwriter of its Lloyd's Syndicate

HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Everest Re Group, Ltd. RE announces that Paul Kneafsey will be joining the Company as the Active Underwriter of its Lloyd's Syndicate 2786. Paul is expected to assume his new role effective May 1, 2016.

Paul will join Everest from ArgoGlobal where he was most recently Head of Casualty and responsible for a global portfolio in excess of £100 million of premium. Paul joined Argo in 2001 and served as Active Underwriter at Argo Syndicate 1200 from 2009 to 2013 before assuming his current role. He began his career at Amlin and has amassed more than 25 years of underwriting experience at Lloyd's.
