Mercury, a Vantiv company, recognized by subscribers for eighth consecutive year for excellence in payment processing

CINCINNATI, Jan. 4, 2016 - Mercury Payment Systems, a Vantiv company VNTV and a provider of payments technology and services for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), has been named Best Channel Vendor 2016 by the subscribers of Business Solutions Magazine (BSM) for the eighth consecutive year. The prestigious award recognizes companies for providing exceptional value to the channel, as highlighted in the January 2016 issue.

Mercury's payment processing technology scored top marks in the service/support, channel friendly, channel program, product features, product reliability, product innovation and adequate VAR margins categories. BSM considered Mercury and Element Payment Services, a recognized leader in PCI compliant payment processing solutions, both Vantiv companies, as one company in winning this award this year.

The BSM Best Channel Vendor awards provide resellers with a guide of top ranked vendors according to their peers. To ensure statistical accuracy, BSM partnered with Penn State University and the top five percent in each category were then selected as Best Channel Vendors, including POS Hardware, POS Software, Payment Processing and Physical Security.
