Welltower Recognized by CDP for Climate Change Transparency

Welltower Inc. HCN has been recognized as a U.S. leader for the quality of climate change related information that it has disclosed to investors and the global marketplace by CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), the international not-for-profit that drives sustainable economies. Welltower is included on the S&P Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), released in the S&P edition of CDP's 2015 Global Climate Change Report.

Welltower, listed in the report by its prior name Health Care REIT, Inc., earned its position on the index by disclosing high-quality data regarding carbon emissions and energy through CDP's climate change program. The reported data has been independently assessed against CDP's scoring methodology. Welltower achieved a score of 99 out of a possible 100. Those organizations graded within the top 10% constitute the CDLI.
