L-3 Names Christopher E. Kubasik President and Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

L-3 Communications LLL announced today that Christopher E. Kubasik will become the president and chief operating officer (COO) of L-3, effective immediately. This newly created position will work closely with Chairman and CEO Michael T. Strianese with a focus on delivering value to customers and shareholders while further developing and strengthening L-3's world-class organization, among other responsibilities. He will be based in the New York Corporate Headquarters office, reporting to Mr. Strianese.

Mr. Kubasik joins L-3 from the Seabury Advisory Group where he served as president and CEO for the past two years. Seabury is a professional services firm focused on the aviation, aerospace and defense markets. Prior to that, Mr. Kubasik was president and COO of Lockheed Martin Corporation.
