InterDigital Enters Into Research Agreement With University of South Florida

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 07, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterDigital, Inc. IDCC, a mobile technology research and development company, today announced that the company has entered into a research and development agreement with the University of South Florida.

The research and development agreement is primarily focused around 5G technologies, with the first statement of work to be entered into under the agreement relating to spectral efficient waveforms and MIMO techniques. The research will be led by Dr. Huseyin Arslan, Professor, Communications & Signal Processing Group, University of South Florida. Dr. Arslan's research areas include advanced waveform design, MIMO, heterogeneous networks, and millimeter wave communications.
