Scotiabank Hosts Philanthropic Forum for BC Charities

VANCOUVER, BC --(Marketwired - September 15, 2015) - On Friday, September 18, Scotiabank is hosting a special forum, bringing together local charities to discuss current issues facing the sector as well as to share best practices and solutions.

More than 350 attendees will take part in the 7th annual Scotiabank Philanthropic Advisory Forum.

WHAT:
More than 350 attendees will take part in the 7th annual Scotiabank Philanthropic Advisory Forum, with the theme "Building a Loyal Community of Support."

More than $930,000 in funds raised through the 2015 Scotiabank Charity Challenge at the Scotiabank Vancouver Half Marathon will be presented to charities in attendance. Scotiabank will also donate five $1,000 door prizes to charities in attendance and ten individual door prizes.
