NIRI's Rocky Mountain Chapter Names 2015-2016 Officers and Directors

The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) today announced its chapter officers and directors for the 2015-2016 program year.

Chapter president, David Banks, said, "I am excited to begin another year serving in a lead role for the Rocky Mountain Chapter and am pleased to have the opportunity to work once again with such a dynamic and engaged board." He continued, "As the premier professional organization for IR professionals in the area, we strive to bring compelling and immediately useful educational programs to our membership while offering ample opportunity to connect in a meaningful way with other experienced IR professionals. After a great response last year, we look forward to continuing to provide a wide variety of opportunities for members of the Rocky Mountain investor relations community to get involved with the chapter."

NIRI's Rocky Mountain Chapter board for 2015-2016 includes:

Officers

President: David Banks, long-time Investor Relations professional with DigitalGlobe, Inc. DGI, Fiserv FISV and First Data, Banks reprises his position as chapter president this year. Previously, he held the office of treasurer, a position he held from 2010 to 2014 and in 2005 and 2006.

Immediate Past President and Director: Steve Nutt, Account Manager for Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. Nutt will continue in his advisory role as immediate past president, having previously held the offices of president, programs co-chair and membership chair. Nutt was recognized in 2013 as a NIRI Individual Leadership Award winner.

Vice President, Treasurer and President-Elect: Kathleen Marvin, Director, Investor Relations for CSG Systems International CSGS. Marvin is returning for a second term as vice president and treasurer for the chapter, and begins her first term as president-elect. Previously, she held the office of Secretary from 2013 and 2015. Marvin was recognized in 2014 as a NIRI Individual Leadership Award winner.

Vice President and Secretary: Karen Winkler, Director of Investor Relations for Golden Minerals Company (NYSE MKT: AUMN; TSX: AUM). Winkler is serving her first term as the chapter's Secretary, having previously served as the chapter's programs chair from 2013 to 2015.

Vice President and Sponsor Chair: Ann Scott, Director, Investor Relations for Ball Corporation BLL. Scott is serving her second term as sponsor chair for the Rocky Mountain Chapter, having previously served as an officer at large. Scott was recognized earlier this year as a NIRI Individual Leadership Award winner for her outstanding performance as a leader in the Rocky Mountain Chapter during the 2014-2015 program year.

Vice President and Programs Co-Chair: Rebecca Palumbo, Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Administration at Hallador Energy Company HNRG. Palumbo is serving her first term as vice president and programs chair, having previously served for one year as a member of the programs committee.

Vice President and Communications Chair: Jennifer Almquist, President and Owner of Ivy Street Advisory, LLC. Almquist is returning for a third term as vice president and communications chair for the Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Vice President and Membership Chair: Heathe Cooper, Director of Sales and Project Management for Watermark Advertising. Cooper is returning to the board for her fifth year as vice president and membership chair. She previously served the chapter as sponsorship chair and volunteered on the Golden Summit Committees.

Treasurer-Elect: Charul Doshi, Investor Relations Analyst for Level 3 Communications, Inc. LVLT. Doshi is serving her second term as an officer at large for the Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Sponsorships Co-Chair: Kevin Kim, Senior Manager of Investor Relations at Molson Coors Brewing Company TAP. Kim is serving his first term as an officer at large for the chapter.

Programs Co-Chair: Will Kent, Director of Investor Relations at QEP Resources, Inc QEP. Kent is serving his first term as an officer at large for the chapter.

Programs Co-Chair: Scott Kozak, Director of Investor Relations at General Moly, Inc. (NYSE MKT and TSX: GMO). Kozak is serving his third term as an officer at large for the chapter.

Membership Co-Chair: Carole Curtin Jorgensen, former Vice President of Investor Relations at tw Telecom. Jorgensen is serving her first term as an officer at large for the chapter.

Directors

Board Director: Brenda Bell, Regional Vice President for Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway company. Bell is a former chapter president and previously served four consecutive terms as membership chair and three terms as sponsorship chair. She has also served the chapter as the volunteer coordinator, chaired the Golden Summit Awards Committee and served on the Membership Committee.

Board Director: Suzanne Brink, former Manager of Investor Relations for Royal Gold, Inc. Brink has served as the president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, following her two years as secretary and communications chair. She also participated on the Membership Committee in 2005 and served as the treasurer in 2001. Brink was also the 2011 recipient of the National Investor Relations Institute scholarship to the University of Michigan's Theory and Practice of Investor Relations seminar.

Board Director: Derek Cole, President of Investor Relations Advisory Solutions. Cole served on the NIRI National Board of Directors from 2008 through 2012, including chairman in 2012. He also served as chairman of the Working Group on Financial Disclosure for NIRI's Standards of Practice for Investor Relations and as co-chairman of the national steering committee for the NIRI BioPharma Roundtable. Cole is a former president for the Rocky Mountain Chapter and previously served as programs chair, secretary and communications chair.

Board Director: Linda Dellett, Partner with IGNITE Public Relations and Investor Relations Consulting. Dellett has served as the president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter, as well as programs chair, membership chair, secretary and volunteer coordinator.

Board Director: Karen Gross, former Vice President & Corporate Secretary for Royal Gold, Inc. RGLD. Gross is a former director of the NIRI National Board of Directors and also served as president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter for three years. She previously served the chapter as treasurer, secretary, and program chair.

Board Director: Deborah Kelly, Partner with Genesis Incorporated. Kelly is a former president of the Rocky Mountain Chapter. She also served on the NIRI National Board of Directors. Kelly was named as a NIRI Fellow in 2015.

Board Director: Karla Kimrey, Vice President of Cloud Peak Energy Inc. CLD. Kimrey previously served the chapter as president, secretary, programs chair, membership chair and officer at large.

Board Director: Jane Okun Bomba, Senior Vice President, Chief Sustainability, Investor Relations and Communications Officer for IHS IHS. Okun Bomba previously served as a director of the NIRI National Board of Directors and has served the Rocky Mountain Chapter as president, program chair, membership chair and treasurer.

Board Director: Andy Schulz, Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations for Ping Identity. Schulz has held the offices of president, treasurer and program co-chair with the Rocky Mountain Chapter.
