International Connections Academy Shares Results of Parent Satisfaction Survey

Survey Results Show 95 Percent of Parents Would Recommend Online Private School, 98 Percent Say Curriculum is High Quality

Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 25, 2015

International Connections Academy (iNaCA), an accredited, online private school serving students in grades K-12 worldwide, released its annual parent satisfaction survey results, revealing high levels of satisfaction with both the school's curriculum and teachers. Ninety-eight percent of parents agree that iNaCA's curriculum is high quality and 95 percent of parents said they would recommend the school to other families.

The survey also highlights the top reasons parents choose to enroll their children in an online private school. In addition to citing iNaCA's accredited program as a significant reason for enrolling, families choose International Connections Academy for a variety of reasons:

-- 36% of parents said they want a change from their local school
-- 26% percent of parents require or want greater flexibility
-- 25% of parents want a more personalized education for their child
-- 22% of parents want a safe learning environment

Parents also cited bullying in previous schools, health concerns, and the desire for more involvement with their child's education as reasons for enrolling their students.

"We strive to provide our students with high-quality teachers, curriculum, and a top notch global education experience," said Principal Hannah Rinehart. "Through this survey, parents have a voice in shaping the changes we make to the program to improve the learning experience for students. We are pleased with the level of feedback that we have received and will continue to work on enhancing every aspect of the program for our families."

International Connections Academy serves students in grades K-12 across the globe who take classes from home or anywhere there is an Internet connection. iNaCA's Class of 2015 earned a 100 percent graduation rate, and for students who applied, a 100 percent college acceptance rate. International Connections Academy graduates have been accepted into more than 100 colleges and universities, including higher education institutions such as: Brown University and Stanford University, among others, and have earned more than $2.5 million in scholarships. In addition to college plans, approximately 10 percent of grads will pursue performing arts or athletic careers, and 23 percent will attend vocational schools, enter the military, start careers or pursue other passions.

"I appreciate how the program empowers a child to be in control of their learning experience," said iNaCA parent Charmaine Soll, whose family lives in Black River, Mauritius. "The program requires an immense amount of self-motivation and having instant access to their grade book puts them in control of what they are achieving."

Additional results from International Connections Academy's parent satisfaction survey include:

-- 95% of parents are satisfied with the helpfulness of their iNaCA teachers

Survey Methodology
International Connections Academy conducts the annual Parent Satisfaction Survey to find out how parents, guardians and Learning Coaches grade the program in several key areas. The 2015 survey was conducted from January 13 to February 28, 2015 by Shapiro and Raj, an independent market research company which created the questionnaire, collected the data, and tabulated the results. No individual responses were accessible to Connections Education. Parents of all students enrolled at the time of the survey were invited to complete the survey online. A WebMail invitation was sent to each parent, and one response per household was allowed for submission.
