AGL Resources Reports Third Quarter EPS of $.29

AGL Resources Inc.

today reported third quarter net income of $22 million, or $0.29 per diluted (and basic) share, compared with net income of $12 million, or $0.16 per diluted (and basic) share, for the third quarter of 2009. For the nine months ended September 30, 2010, net income attributable to AGL Resources Inc. was $170 million, or $2.19 per diluted share and $2.20 per basic share, compared with net income of $151 million, or $1.97 per diluted (and basic) share, for the same period in 2009.
