Mt. Logan Re, Ltd. Appoints Chris Caponigro as Head of Business Development

HAMILTON, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Mt. Logan Re, Ltd. today announced the appointment of Chris Caponigro as its Head of Business Development.

Mr. Caponigro was most recently with Platinum Underwriters Bermuda, Ltd., where he served as Head of North American Catastrophe Lines, prior to its acquisition by Renaissance Re. From 1995 to 2002, prior to joining Platinum, Mr. Caponigro had been with St. Paul Re. Mr. Caponigro brings a diverse background with over 20 years of experience that includes property, specialty, and structured underwriting, in addition to various financial and analytical roles.

Mr. Caponigro earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Susquehanna University, and a Master in Business Administration in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and holds CPCU, ARe and AMIM designations.
