Citi Discusses AES Corp (AES)

Citi Investment Research is out with a research note on The AES Corp

, which it has a $11.80 price target, and a 2S rating on. In the research note, Citi writes, "The Sunday Times (UK newspaper) reported over the weekend that AES Corp offered to acquire International Power just days before International Power announced its own deal with GDF Suez in August. The Times article also says AES could offer again if International Power's plans to sell itself to GDF Suez fall through." Shares of AES lost 2 cents to close at $11.94 on Friday.
