Newpark Resources Reports Net Income of $0.09 Per Diluted Share

Newpark Resources, Inc. NR today announced results for its third quarter ended September 30, 2010. Total revenues were $179.3 million for the third quarter of 2010 compared to $181.4 million for the second quarter of 2010 and $118.2 million for the third quarter of 2009. Net income for the third quarter of 2010 was $8.2 million, or $0.09 per diluted share, compared to net income for the second quarter of 2010 of $10.8 million, or $0.12 per diluted share, and net income for the third quarter of 2009 of $0.2 million, or break-even on a per share basis.
