GSE Systems to Present on Simulation for Severe Accident Management Guidelines at ICONE 23 Conference

SYKESVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Global energy services solutions provider GSE Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: GVP) ("GSE") today announced that its research scientist, Dr. Hu Luo, Ph.D, will be giving two joint presentations with China Nuclear Power Technology Research Institute and CGN Power Co., Ltd. on severe accident management at the ICONE 23 International Conference on Nuclear Engineering. Both presentations will discuss research aimed at improving plant performance and engineering best practices to prevent and manage severe accident scenarios at nuclear power facilities. The event takes place May 17-21 at the International Conference Hall at Makuhati Messe in Chiba, Japan.

Dr. Luo will be jointly presenting, "Research and Development of a Validation and Drill System for Full-Scope Severe Accident Management Guidelines," during the Deterministic Safety Analysis and Related Experiments session on Tuesday, May 19th between 8:30 and 12:00 local time.

The next day, Dr. Luo will give another joint presentation titled, "The Study and Development of a Smart Support System for Full-Scope Severe Accident Management Guidelines." This will take place during the Severe Accident Management II session between 15:40 and 17:20.
