Sinclair's 161 local television stations will provide much-needed public awareness for these causes, as well as direct financial support from the sale of advertising and sponsorships around Chideo's rich collection of exclusive content from more than 100 celebrity ambassadors.

"As we build this charity network, our focus is to bring as much awareness as possible to important issues affecting millions of people worldwide, which makes Sinclair a perfect partner to help distribute our call-to-action," said Chideo Founder and CEO Todd Wagner. "Sinclair is one of the strongest station groups in the country, and we are excited to leverage their extensive network to increase our impact."

"At Sinclair we are committed to innovation and to creating more meaningful connections with our audience, which is why we are very excited about the relationship with Chideo," commented David Amy, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sinclair Broadcast Group.  "We believe our reach and branding capabilities will be able to increase awareness and dollars for Chideo's respective missions."

In addition to providing exclusive content and original programming, Chideo will join forces with its ambassadors and charity partners to bring Sinclair's audiences the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Currently, Chideo has teamed with country music icon Clint Black to help find the next rising star in country music by allowing aspiring artists who make a small donation to Rettsyndrome.org to submit an original audition song for Black's review. The winner will record a song with Black in his studio, followed by a personal meeting with Black's management team.
