J.P. Morgan Reiterates Overweight Rating Of Gartner, Inc.

Gartner, Inc. IT is maintaining its Overweight rating on Gartner shares following this week's trip to the company's annual Symposium/ITxpo event in Orlando. “We were impressed with the attendee/vendor turnout, and picked up some incrementally positive data points,” J.P. Morgan writes. “We believe that Gartner's influence (increased client inquiries, stronger CIO relationships, broader research coverage) continues to grow due to management initiatives and a quick recovery from the recession. In our view, that should be a positive leading indicator to 2011 results.” J.P. Morgan also maintains its December 2011 price target of $35. Gartner, Inc. currently trades for $30.83.
