Time Warner Cable Expands TWC TV™ Experience to Xbox One

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Time Warner Cable today announced an agreement with Microsoft Corp. to bring its TWC TV app to the Xbox One video game and entertainment system.

Beginning today, Time Warner Cable video subscribers who have either a free or paid Xbox Live account will have access to 7,000 free and subscription On Demand titles within their homes. Customers can easily search, browse and instantly watch their favorite shows and movies from any room without an additional set top box.

TWC TV delivers a new, intuitive and seamless video experience that leverages the power of Xbox One, featuring the OneGuide electronic program guide, together with state of the art voice commands through Kinect, and the ability to use the Xbox One snap feature to enjoy the TWC TV app alongside your favorite games.

The TWC TV app is available for download at no additional cost from the Xbox Live Apps. It is also available on Xbox 360 with up to 300 live channels and more than 7,000 On Demand choices.
