It is becoming more evident that seasoned veterans like Mario Kassar of Carolco Pictures, Inc. CRCO, Gregg Seibert Vice Chairman of The Madison Square Garden Company MSG and Kathleen M. Pawlus who is one of the newest additions to AMC Entertainment Holdings, Inc. AMC board of directors can bring value and expertise to an already diversified management team.

Industry veteran Mario Kassar, who co-founded Carolco in 1976 is a prime example. Recently, Mr. Kassar was elected chairman of the board in an attempt to reignite the flame. With blockbuster hits dating back to 1982 such as "First Blood" and "Rambo: First Blood Part II," - which have collectively grossed a total of $420 million worldwide - this is exactly what the Carolco brand needs. Passing the torch down should be coined passing it up as we see the older and wiser come back to lead.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. LGF has also used this strategy, with the recent welcoming of Jon Feltheimer, CEO to the board of Telltale. With over 30 years' experience in the industry, Mr. Feltheimer has held senior positions with Sony Pictures Entertainment and New World Entertainment as well.
