Michael Leonard Joins MB Financial Bank as Commercial Banking Group President

Leonard joins MB from First Midwest Bank where he was Regional President of the bank's largest commercial banking region.

MB Financial Bank announced that Michael J. Leonard has joined the organization as a Group President in the bank's Commercial Banking Group. Leonard joins MB from First Midwest Bank where he was Regional President of the bank's largest commercial banking region. He and his team will be based in Lemont, Illinois, and will provide MB Financial Bank's broad range of commercial banking services to mid-sized companies in the south and southwest suburbs of Chicago as well as in northwest Indiana.

Leonard comes to MB Financial Bank with more than 25 years' experience in Chicago commercial banking. He holds an MBA from DePaul University and a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa. He is active in the southwest suburban community as Commissioner of the Village of Tinley Park, President of the Alsip Industrial Association, and a Board Member of the Chicago Southland Development Corporation.
