Company welcomes Verizon into newly opened ACC7 location in Ashburn, VA

WASHINGTON, Dec. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DuPont Fabros Technology Inc. DFT, a leading owner, developer, operator and manager of enterprise-class, carrier-neutral, large multi-tenant wholesale data centers, today announced it has expanded its relationship with Verizon Enterprise Solutions. Already a presence in DFT's other data centers in Northern Virginia as well as California, Illinois and New Jersey, the expanded relationship welcomes Verizon into the largest data center in DFT's portfolio, ACC7. Officially celebrated at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in late September, ACC7 is one of the largest multi-tenant data centers in North America, containing 446,000 gross square feet and 41.6 megawatts of critical power when fully developed. It is the sixth data center on DFT's 1.6 million square-foot Ashburn campus.

Verizon provides DFT's customers with a variety of enterprise-class networking services, including Private IP, public Internet, Ethernet and wavelength services. With 800,000 route miles, Verizon manages thousands of customer networks and more than 300,000 security, network and hosting devices in 142 countries and territories, including more than 120,000 routers, 60,000 switches, 80 technologies and 44,000 third-party circuits. Verizon operates and owns one of the largest Tier1 IP backbones on the globe.
