MORRISVILLE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

SciQuest, Inc. SQI, a leading provider of cloud-based business automation solutions for spend management, today announced the latest charitable contributions from its SciQuest Charitable Fund. The latest round of donations support organizations dedicated to disease and medical research. Working with the Triangle Community Foundation, SciQuest created the fund in 2011 and has worked to identify and donate to worthy causes since its inception.

  • Alzheimer Disease Research Center at the University of Pittsburgh, which studies the pathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease (AD) with the aim of improving the reliability of diagnosis of AD and developing effective treatment strategies.
  • BEGINNINGS for Parents of Children Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, which provides hands-on emotional support, comprehensive objective information about hearing loss and communication options, and technical assistance to parents, helping them access necessary services for their children who are hearing impaired.
  • The Chordoma Foundation, which works to improve the lives of chordoma patients by accelerating research to develop effective treatments for chordoma, and by helping patients to get the best care possible.
  • Vs. Cancer Foundation, which is dedicated to saving children's lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts.

“We are honored to be able to support such a diverse set of charitable organizations dedicated to eradicating disease and helping improve the lives of those afflicted,” said Stephen Wiehe, president and CEO of SciQuest. “We work hard to identify and support organizations that are committed to taking care of others, and the organizations we've chosen to support this year certainly fit that bill.”
