Five Star Quality Care, Inc. FVE today announced the results of its 2014 Annual Meeting which was held earlier today as follows.

Barbara D. Gilmore was re-elected as an Independent Director.

Barry M. Portnoy was re-elected as a Managing Director.

Shareholders approved the 2014 Equity Compensation Plan.

Shareholders approved a nonbinding advisory resolution approving the compensation paid to the Company's named executive officers.
