It's Going To Be A Red Christmas This Year (DAL, UPS, FDX)

For the second time this week, snow wreaked havoc on London's Heathrow airport, parts of Europe, and now there are warnings that more snow is to come. Many have said that Heathrow airport looks more like a refugee camp rather than an airport with people sleeping in the terminal gates waiting for service to resume. Not only are commercial airlines like Delta DAL feeling the crunch, as DAL is trading down 1.90%, but major delivery corporations like UPS UPS and Fed Ex FDX are also trading lower recently as major transportation hubs grind to a halt. With Christmas just days away, many would-be shoppers are stranded in various airports and now the snow storm is wreaking havoc on the major European and UK retailers as well. Argos-owner Home Retail Group's shares fell 2.4%, while shares in Next, Marks and Spencer and Tesco also slipped.
