Pre-open movers
U.S. stock futures traded slightly lower in early pre-market trade. The labor market conditions index for September will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET.
Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 18 points to 18,240.00, while the Standard & Poor’s 500 index futures declined 3.75 points to 2,155.25. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index fell 1 point to 4,892.00.
Oil prices traded lower as Brent crude futures declined 1.11 percent to trade at $52.55 per barrel, while US WTI crude futures also fell 1.23 percent to trade at $50.72 a barrel.
A Peek Into Global Markets
European markets were higher today, with the Spanish Ibex Index rising 0.47 percent, STOXX Europe 600 Index rising 0.24 percent and German DAX 30 index gaining 0.47 percent. The UK's FTSE index was trading higher by 0.40 percent, while French CAC 40 Index rose 0.43 percent.
In Asian markets, Japan’s Nikkei Stock Average rose 0.98 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index declined 1.27 percent, China’s Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.56 percent and India’s BSE Sensex rose 0.08 percent.

Analysts at Evercore ISI Group upgraded Twitter Inc TWTR from Sell to Hold.
Twitter shares rose 1.71 percent to $17.86 in pre-market trading.
