Stocks To Watch For January 12, 2016

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects IHS Inc. IHS to report its quarterly earnings at $1.56 per share on revenue of $599.38 million. IHS shares fell 0.66 percent to close at $109.27 yesterday. Alcoa Inc AA reported better-than-expected earnings for its fourth quarter. Alcoa shares fell 0.75 percent to $7.94 in the after-hours trading session. Apollo Global Management LLC APO is in advanced talks to acquire Apollo Education Group Inc. APOL, according to sources as reported by the Wall Street Journal on Monday. Apollo Education shares jumped 22.26 percent to $7.80 in after-hours trading, while Apollo Global Management shares gained 0.14 percent to close at $14.02 yesterday. Analysts expect CSX Corporation CSX to post its quarterly earnings at $0.46 per share on revenue of $2.87 billion. CSX shares gained 0.38 percent to $23.61 in after-hours trading. Skullcandy Inc SKUL announced Monday afternoon its fourth-quarter sales are now expected to be flat on a year-over-year basis. The company also lowered its Q4 earnings forecast. Skullcandy shares dipped 22.86 percent to $3.51 in the after-hours trading session. Lululemon Athletica inc. LULU raised its guidance for the fourth quarter. Lululemon shares surged 8.53 percent to $59.40 in the after-hours trading session.
