4 Stocks Moving In Monday's After-Hours Session

Shares of VeriFone Systems Inc PAY were trading down more than 1.6 percent in Monday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s fourth quarter financial results. As the afternoon advanced, shares started to recuperate, trading slightly above their closing price.

The small cap secure electronic payment solutions provider delivered earnings of $0.49 per share on revenue of $514.2 million, pretty close to estimates and guidance. Management had guided for earnings between $0.47 per share and $0.48 per share on revenue of $510 million to $513 million, while the Street was expecting consensus earnings of $0.48 per share on sales of $513.42 million.

One of the largest gainers of the afternoon was probably Pulaski Financial Corp PULB, up more than 10 percent since the bell rang on no apparent news.

An even bigger gainer was Tronox Ltd TROX, up more than 24 percent briefly before correcting to their end-of-day closing price.

One of the largest losers of the afternoon was Fusion Telecommunications Int'l, Inc. FSNN, down over 11 percent. The decline looked like a continuation of a near-2 percent fall during Monday's intraday trading, driven by the announcement that a subsidiary of the company had entered into a stock purchase and sale agreement with three sellers to acquire all outstanding securities of Fidelity Access Networks, LLC, Fidelity Connect LLC, Fidelity Telecom, LLC, Fidelity Voice Services, LLC and Fidelity Access Networks, Inc., all based in Ohio.

Disclosure: Javier Hasse holds no positions in any of the securities mentioned above.
