Monday's After-Hours Movers Led By Fitbit, Texas Roadhouse, Tenet Healthcare And Qualys

Shares of Texas Roadhouse Inc TXRH were up roughly 4 percent in Monday’s after-hours session, following the announcement of the company’s third-quarter financial results. The restaurant operator reported earnings of $0.29 per share on revenue of $438.09 million, missing the Street’s consensus estimate, which called for earnings of $0.31 per share on revenue of $441.39 million.

Fitbit Inc FIT fell more than 8 percent despite having beat expectations. The fitness products maker delivered earnings of $0.24 per share on revenue of $409.26 million, well above the Street’s consensus of $0.10 per share and $358.66 million.

It seems like investors are not very happy with the company’s intention to file a registration statement for a follow-on public offering of its common stock.

Also falling on its earnings call is Qualys Inc QLYS, a small-cap cloud security and compliance solutions provider. The company beat expectations for earnings of $0.13 per share and revenue of $42.33 million, delivering earnings of $0.19 per share on revenue of $42.47 million. Results also came in ahead of guidance.

Shares of Qualys were down 13 percent after the bell rang.

Another decliner on Monday afternoon was Tenet Healthcare Corp THC, which lost 3.8 percent on its earnings call. The mid-cap healthcare services company reported earnings of $0.29 per share on revenue of $4.692 billion, missing the Street’s consensus of $0.30 per share and $4.677, but ahead of guidance, which called for EPS of $0.27. Management announced a "$500 million share repurchase program to be funded with proceeds from previously announced divestitures."
