Its same-store sales on a constant currency basis gained 3.6 percent in the quarter, versus a 4.5 percent growth, in the year-ago quarter. Whole Foods shares dipped 12.01 percent to $41.99 in pre-market trading.

Tesla Motors IncTSLA reported a narrower-than-expected loss for the first quarter. Tesla shares rose 1.74 percent to $234.44 in pre-market trading.
