Alexander Alternative Capital Chief Investment Officer Michael Corcelli said that Twitter Inc TWTR will "blow out expectations" on earnings and performance. Corcelli bases his philosophy on Twitter's source of revenue – 85 percent of which is from mobile.
On a macro level, mobile is "growing significantly," with 2015 being a pivot year where more advertising dollars will be spent on mobile than on desktop. According to Corcelli, Twitter is "one of the best positioned" companies to take advantage of this trend.
Corcelli said that he is "very optimistic" on the stock, which has gained 43 percent year-to-date. This performance follows a dismal 2014, where the stock moved 44 percent lower. At the moment, Twitter is roughly 10 percent below its 52-week high of $55.99.
