Wall Street expects McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) to report its Q3 earnings at $1.38 per share on revenue of $7.19 billion. McDonald's shares dropped 0.04% to $91.55 in after-hours trading.
Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) reported stronger-than-expected results for the third quarter and also raised sales forecast slightly to a range of $63.5 billion to $66.5 billion. CEO Tim Cook said that Apple sold nearly 40 million iPhones during the quarter. Apple shares rose 1.51% to $101.27 in the after-hours trading session.
The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE: KO) is estimated to report its Q3 earnings at $0.53 per share on revenue of $12.12 billion. Coca-Cola shares declined 0.67% to $43.00 in after-hours trading.
Analysts are expecting Yahoo! (NASDAQ: YHOO) to have earned $0.30 per share on revenue of $1.04 billion in the third quarter. Yahoo shares gained 0.31% to $39.40 in after-hours trading.
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) reported upbeat third-quarter profit and issued a strong Q4 earnings outlook. Texas Instruments shares gained 1.33% to $45.00 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Verizon Communications (NYSE: VZ) to report its Q3 earnings at $0.91 per share on revenue of $31.58 billion. Verizon shares rose 0.76% to $48.85 in after-hours trading.
AbbVie Inc (NYSE: ABBV) announced a new $5 billion stock repurchase program and raised its quarterly dividend by around 17% to $0.49 per share. The company also officially dropped its $55 billion plan to buy Shire PLC (NASDAQ: SHPG). AbbVie shares climbed 2.10% to $55.55 in after-hours trading, while Shire shares slipped 0.03% to $184.54 in the after-hours trading session.
Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) is projected to report its Q3 earnings at $2.71 per share on revenue of $11.28 billion. Lockheed Martin shares gained 0.52% to $176.45 in the after-hours trading session.
