Wall Street expects Discovery Communications (NASDAQ: DISCA) to report its Q1 earnings at $0.71 per share on revenue of $1.43 billion. Discovery shares surged 8.01% to $84.00 in after-hours trading.
Greenlight Capital's David Einhorn said that Athenahealth's (NASDAQ: ATHN) stock price could decline as much as 80%. Athenahealth shares tumbled 12.19% to $111.33 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: EA) to have earned $0.11 per share on revenue of $812.35 million in the fourth quarter. EA shares gained 0.91% to close at $28.76 yesterday.
Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) is projected to post a Q1 loss at $0.03 per share on revenue of $738.40 million. Groupon shares rose 1.02% to $6.96 in the after-hours trading session.
American International Group (NYSE: AIG) reported a 27% drop in its first-quarter net income. AIG posted its adjusted earnings of $1.21 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $1.06 per share. AIG shares fell 2.98% to $51.15 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect DIRECTV (NASDAQ: DTV) to report its Q1 earnings at $1.50 per share on revenue of $7.91 billion. DIRECTV shares declined 0.11% to $79.75 in after-hours trading.
The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) is expected to post its Q2 earnings at $0.96 per share on revenue of $11.24 billion. Disney shares gained 0.04% to $81.25 in the after-hours trading session.
