Commercial Metals Co CMC reported a gain in its fiscal second-quarter earnings.
Commercial Metals posted its quarterly profit of $11.1 million, or $0.09 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $4.6 million, or $0.04 per share.
Its revenue fell 2.3% to $1.65 billion. However, analysts were projecting a profit of $0.10 per share on revenue of $1.7 billion.
Commercial Metals shares gained 2.59% to $19.43 in pre-market trading.
